mission

building a world with contemplative mind.

What we do

We provide mindfulness, meditation and emotional intelligence training programs for organizations.

We consult with organizations on a wide range of policy and culture issues.

Our two focus areas are:

  1. Businesses seeking to create a culture that supports mental health

  2. Meditation training for post psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy

why we do it

From technological changes, to workplace demands, to rapid socio-economic-cultural change, the need for healthy regulation of emotional-mental states is paramount. Contemplative Solutions aims to address these systemic challenges. We offer empirically supported solutions for the mental health needs of individuals and organizations. We operate under a two-continua model of mental health, wherein reduction of suffering and enhancement of flourishing are not mutually exclusive.

The Problem: distress, distraction, and lack of purpose

Our Solution: mindfulness, emotional intelligence and meditation

Contemplative Practices: mind-body synchronization activities that train core cognitive-affective process of intention, attention, and awareness.

Organizations continue to adopt these practices to provide benefits to their stakeholders, creating change at three levels: individual, interpersonal, and organizational.

Individual: decreases in stress, anxiousness and burnout; increases in focus and overall wellbeing.

Interpersonal: improved collaboration; increased prosocial behaviors and communication.

Organizational: alignment with organizational values; improved retention and recruitment; positive changes in organizational culture.

Our vision

A world in which contemplative practices are integrated into modern society, and where resulting awareness and insights bear fruition in transforming systems to be more just, sane and secure for all.

WHo we are

Dylan Leigh

When noticing the conditions that are detrimental to flourishing are persisting, Dylan became aware that a systems level approach would be needed to ultimately alleviate suffering. Dylan is a trained mindfulness and meditation instructor. He has co-authored academic research articles on the cognitive-affective science of contemplative practices and emotion regulation through his work at cognitive science lab. Dylan's own journey through suffering led him to mindfulness many years ago. He founded Contemplative Solutions to help organizations and their people flourish. Over the years Contemplative Solutions has served customers from coffee shops to law firms and many in-between. Dylan believes in the inherent wisdom within people, and wants to build systems that bring that wisdom out.

He later attended Naropa University for his graduate studies where he further developed his practice and eventually became a certified instructor.
